Director of Sales (APAC & EMEA)

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Leader to join our Sales Organization as the Sales Director for APAC & EMEA. We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director with a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will ensure that the APAC/EMEA Team meets our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales Director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales Director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends and mentoring and motivating the field sales representatives. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent EcoDigital within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding media asset storage and distribution, support and licensing, and on-premise / cloud-based storage in their digital ecosystems. This position will require the ability to travel 50% or more as needed.

Job Profile Summary

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory.
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure growth with our existing clients and new logo’s.
  • Ensure that all sales team members are contributing to the success of EcoDigital.
  • Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives for each sales team member.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within APAC & EMEA.
  • Working with the Sales Team, build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • In conjunction with our Sales Team, build strong relationships with our reseller/channel partners throughout the APAC & EMEA.
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Expand sales to new vertical markets as part of the long-term company expansion plan.
  • Actively identify and participate in trade shows, networking opportunities, and industry events.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Sales Leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • IT Sales / Sales Management Experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Focus and judgement. We are a growing company. You can always do more stuff. Success at our stage is in focusing on the right things and avoiding unforced errors.
  • No excuses mentality. Strategizing, prospecting, and execution is your daily activity and you want to be measured by results.
  • Able to travel when required. Expect 50%+ of the time.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
